If you are a podcaster, musician, voiceover artist, live streamer or more, Blue Microphones has a new microphone for all your needs. The Ember microphone is a hand-tuned condenser microphone with a tight cardioid pickup to help reduce room noise.
I talk with Hillary Money of Blue Microphones at CES 2019 about this new device.
The Ember microphone is a side-address device. You talk into the side with the Blue logo. With the thin design, this microphone will not take over your face when you are recording a video podcast or livestreaming. For a musician, micing an amp is easier with the side-address as you can use a standard stand with the adapter next to the speaker.
That same adapter will also connect to a boom arm, such as the Blue Compass boom arm, for podcasting and voice-over work.
Since this is an XLR mic, you will need a mixer with phantom power, or a device such as the Blue Icicle
